A boy and his dog . . .

. . . on the first day of school.

Strange, but some people think I look older than 17.

Awwwww. Classic first-day-of-school photo.

If we count in dog years, I suppose this is the start of first grade.

To really fit in with the other kids, do you need to be saggin'? I believe last year flannel pajama bottoms were very stylish.

I think the picture here is the look of a thoughtful adult. Surely that's appealing to professors. (the people who give you grades.)

This is so cute I can't stand it.

Can we get some covert photos of your classrooms, too? Then I wouldn't have to do so much reading but could just look at all the pictures.

You look 19, tops. 20 at the very most...

As a point of comparison about what nice job you and your stylist did with this look, I refer you to the ideas of another.

Be sure you watch the whole slide show.

Now don't you feel good about yourself and your choices?

Lovely.

Please pass along birthday greetings from the Blogmuse to the Blogger's Rock.

And, can I just add to Deb: OMG.

I know what the dog is thinking, but I want to know what the bracelet on your left arm says. I hoped not Livestrong.

What is more first-day-at-the-bus-stop than a pic of a boy and his dog? What a wholesome send-off!

Smart wardrobe choices were made here reflecting comfort and ease of movement, low-maintenance fabrics, and enough color to catch the eye without competing with the pack.

I also love the fact that the shadow of the Blogger's Rock is in the picture as well - very Hitchcock. A+ for creativity and composition.
