As some of you may know (actually, some of you are complicit), our household has a certain fondness for Liberty Frozen Custard in Minneapolis. Of all the wonderful rotating flavors, the very very bestest is Magic Cookie Bar, which is as it promises: magic. So to thank both my loyal readers, I invite you to join me at Liberty next Monday, October 8, at 8:00pm for Going40ina20Zone Blog Appreciation Night! That night is particularly special because the Flavor of the Day is the aforementioned Magic. We will chat, study German vocab, and pose for blog photos, and it will be super duper fun. There will be prizes, and of course, free frozen custard.
How do you get your free frozen custard? Simple. Check this blog every day, beginning tomorrow, through Oct. 8. Each day beneath my photo will be a Secret Word of the Day. Collect all seven words, form them into a sentence, and whisper the sentence to me when you arrive at LC. I'll buy your custard!

I thought sure the words were going to be German. I'm often wrong when I'm very sure of things. Oh well, guess I'll just have to make the adjustment. Magic Cookie Bar anything sounds like it will be worth it. (Ask Deb what my email address is ...)
