It's a sunny day, you don't really feel like working, you'd rather be elsewhere. I understand; I've even heard of this phenomenon, and I'm here to help.
Blogger Play
The good folks at Blogger have created a program that posts all the photos, in real time, as they are posted to all the public blogs hosted by Blogger, in the whole wide world. We see a slideshow of what everyone is posting to their blog, right now. It's the ultimate voyeuristic dream come true. You can waste hours, days, or lifetimes watching the world go by. There's some algorithm that censors nudity, but so far that's the only downside I can see. Well, that and the end to productivity as we know it.
Again, that's http://play.blogger.com/ . You're welcome. And I'm sorry.
P.S. When you go to the site, you also have the option of clicking "Show Info" in the bottom right corner of the page. When you see a picture you like, if you click on that button, Blogger will take you to the original blog. So you can discover hundreds more blogs to read. Again, goodbye productivity.

Word on the streets is that City Pages has voted Blogger Play "Best Cheap Thrill."
The Blogger introduced me to Blogger Play about 23 hours ago. Since then, I have accomplished exactly nothing.
Oh wait, that's not quite true. I stopped at Walgreen's to stock up on eye drops because my eyes are so dry from staring at Blogger Play for 22.5 hours.
Don't say I didn't warn you.
Blogger Play ought to come with a warning from the Surgeon General:
"WARNING: Excessive use of this website may impair your ability to contribute productively at work, clean your place of residence, feed your family, and in general communicate with actual people in real time."
Go toward the light, Carol Ann!
