The Rock had his dressings changed and sutures removed today (pins come out next week). That's good.
When we got home after work, I took a nap because I have a bad cold and feel miserable. That's bad.
Eric, easing back into real life, made dinner. That's very good.
Eric dropped our glass flour canister, catching the broken glass with his index finger. That's bloody.
The loud noise woke me from my nap and I lurched to the kitchen to help. Having an open loft floorplan, where loud noises in kitchen affect napping in bedroom? Also bad.
Dr. Tom came over, stopped the bleeding, applied Steri-Strips. In the meantime, having been suddenly forced awake, seeing blood, not feeling well in the first place, I had to lay down as I started to pass out. That's pathetic.
It may be time to consider an assisted-living environment.

I may have my baby 10 days earlier than planned. That is exciting.
I may miss the birthday party. That is sad.
Hope you feel better and have a less exciting day tomorrow.
Ew, blood.
I have a cold too. We did sit quite close together at Friday's Knit Night...
Ohmigod - Caytie speaks! Scott, you are a lucky Blogger.
Glad Eric is mending and feeling domestic, albeit clumsy. I'm sorry to hear about your cold of doom. If there's anything you guys need, let me know.
I thought we already lived in assisted living, no?
