Cool mobile testing

If all goes well, I will be able to blog on the go, from my kickass

If I had made any New Year's resolutions, which I didn't, I would certainly have broken all of them whilst waiting for the next blog post.

PS

It was really nice to have cupcakes to give the emergency plumber who came on Sunday after the Magic Cookie Bar unfortunateness. We were the best sewer drain stop of his whole day.

Apparently I need to be more clear in my communication efforts. There has been a suggestion that the previous reply might be misconstrued in some way.

Let me set the scene by saying that we have an 80-year-old house with harvest gold Formica countertops and a harvest gold electric range (in like-new condition) in the kitchen. The garbage disposer is at least Scott's age, and is a very temperamental "batch-loader."

So at midnight the other night, the Magic Cookie Bar tub still had three or four inches of wonderful content left in the bottom, and we all agreed it was worth trying to keep it cold/frozen. We brought it home, and in retrospect, we should have transferred it to a smaller container that would fit in the freezer. But it was late, and, well, anyway, we put it in the snow, where it melted into nothing we could eat the next morning.

We brought it inside and poured it down the drain. Kind of clumsy, because it was a big tub. The disposer didn't work, but we thought That's OK, It'll Work Later.

8 hours later . . .

The liquid part of the MCB was gone, and there was a block of solid chocolate in the drain (on a cold north wall), and it wasn't going anywhere.

Like all old house owners, we're on a first-name basis with the guy who brings in the big machine to grind the tree roots out of the sewer. We called him *Sunday morning* and he was here in an hour, and now the chocolate is gone, and he cleared the tree roots too, just because he was there.

It was really really nice to have cupcakes to give him (in addition to the upcharge for a Sunday visit - worth it).

Gee it's fun to have my own blog.

:-)
