Reader, I registered.

Can I do it? I have no idea. Do I have even have the will to run a marathon? I honestly don't know that, either. I guess we'll all have to wait and see. But, in true Going40 spirit, let's make a whiny go of it. Check back here in 169 days (actually, check back here more often that for more of our usual, frivolous fun).

Good for you, Scott. Plenty of time for training, right?

If Pope Benny knew about your endeavor, he'd bestow papal blessings upon your knees.

I only run when being pursued by something dangerous, so marathons are entirely beyond my comprehension. I'm sure you can do it, though. I mean, really, what can't you do?

Let's not forget that Pheidippides, who ran the first marathon, collapsed and died at the finish.

Hi Scott - I see you like the music of Franck. He is one of my absolute favorites as well. There are a few posts on my blog about certain passages in Franck's organ music. Might like to check them out. Robert
