A Very Important Day

I'm planning on major productivity today in the worlds of academic research, piano practice, and enjoying my front porch. But even more importantly, today is the keynote address by Steve Jobs at the World Wide Developers Conference. Why do we care? Because hopefully we will be able to parse his words to find out when I can get rid of my Piece of Crap Computer in hopes of getting a newly redesigned MacBook. Tune in to macrumorslive.com for all the latest. You too, Stephanie, since you seem to have given your laptop a bath. Others may care about the almost certain announcement of a new 3G iPhone. Those of us with iPhone Classic scoff at your puppy-like eagerness. You are poseurs, nothing more.

Please don't hate me when I show up to Men's Knit Night with my new iPhone. I promise to bring a really cute gay boy with me...
