A dream, really

The GRE matching program I enrolled in is really starting to pay off. Today I got an email from perhaps my dream program. The Johns Hopkins Department of Biostatistics thinks that I might be a good match for their PhD program, because I share their mission of advancing public health in the world. That is indeed true. Obviously my groundbreaking work dissecting fetal pigs caught their attention. That, along with my OCD tendency to count stairs as I climb them, brings biology + statistics together in an ideal way. Wish me well as I begin my path toward a fabulous career in counting living things. Really, it couldn't be more perfect.
