Almost everything about this clip is perfect, including appearances by Mr. Shawn's son Wally, the exquisite Mischa, and Phil's girlfriend Candy. The pacing and presentation of the F-word is pleasing, varied, even soothing to me.
From the beginning of time, I've noticed a slight tension in therapy sessions, as both client and therapist try to behave and determine if this will be a therapeutic fit. I think the client usually knows in the first session. Often I shorten the process and reduce the tension by being the first one to break the f*ck barrier. (OK, usually not in the first session.) I just like to get it out of the way - if a person finds out they can say the F word in therapy, they know there's a lot of other things they can say.
On the other hand, I think this episode is marred by Carrie's way-too-visible and underwear-like bra. That was a bad moment in fashion, in my opinion.
