A great weekend in Wisconsin: great food, great friends, and of course, great skiing. Eric is amazing. And his dad, too!
Now in my sweats, doing homework, watching TV. Many of you are probably watching the Oscars, as I am. But there is a crucial difference in our viewing: I texted my brother who was standing backstage at the Kodak Theater as the nominees for best supporting actor were announced. As you'll recall, Steve's client Hal Holbrook was nominated in the category. He didn't win (Javier Bardem had it sewn up), but it was great to see Hal and Dixie, knowing how hard Steve works for both of them, and knowing too that being at the Oscars, working at the Oscars, is a dream come true for Steve. Good job, baby brother.

On Wisconsin-it's a great place.
I feel your excitement about the Oscars, knowing someone is there-like for us last year when our friend Heidi's husband was nominated for sound editing on Blood Diamond. He didn't win either, but it was pretty cool when Heidi and Lon called us from the red carpet. Hooray for Hollywood!
I won my Oscar pool!
Okay, there's no $300 prize or free personal day. Not even a nice lunch. Just a bar of chocolate and the right to brag until next year.
17/24
(Only a C- average, but the next best guesser was last year's winner, at 13/24).
