In other, much more interesting news, Apple has FINALLY made an announcement about its announcement of new MacBooks. As expected, the event will take place this Tuesday, October 14. Rumors include aluminum casing (a fair certainty), an expanded touchpad, and a lower price point, possibly starting as low as $799. As most of you know, I have been not-so-patiently waiting for a new computer for months. And now it dawns. And we are totally fricking broke. So I'm happy about that.
Unrelated, I don't care how hackneyed it is, I love Debussy's Clair de lune. It's on the radio right now, and the house smells like curried vegetable stew and oatmeal raisin cookies, both just made, and that's that.
